Enamel pins are painted by hand so therefore pins are rarely 100% perfect. Standard pins are the best quality pins in the batch but may still have some small imperfections. The back of the pin is not considered in grading as it is not the side that is displayed. Smudges may require wiping with a micro fiber cloth as well.
